The West Whinge

This sent in from Wes:

After Third Watch last Tuesday night, Channel Nine voiceover man Pete Smith sidled up to viewers and asked us to "Stay with Nine, now, as one of the most powerful dramas in television history returns. Stay tuned for The West Wing".

Mr Smith's words are interesting for several reasons.

The first is that Nine was acknowledging The West Wing as "one of the most powerful dramas in television history". Well, der. We know it's great television. That's why we get angry when it jumps on and off the schedule. Just pick a time, put it on and leave it there. That's all we ask.....All the rest.
