On Popes and Elections

Busy day at church yesterday...we took time in most of the services to pray for catholic people around the world. Far cry from my upbringing when most in the rural, nz, charasmatic church believed the pope was demonic...theology courtesy of chick publications! I even remember one family leaving riverview when we had a priest speak one weekend.

Anyway a whole new generation are going to learn the ancient ceremonies for pope-election which are strangely made, it seems, for our television world...watch the smoke change colour.....
