A couple of blogee's were having a discussion in the comments section a few posts ago about the quality of coffee. They raised the question of the subjectivity of it all. The same is of course true for music, food, poetry indeed everthing else.
I think it interesting that there is a 'better'. That a fine Lafite Rothschild is superior to a cheap Rioja not just because the experts say it is but the majority of people, given the chance to drink both, would agree. Aristotle said that the excellent becomes the permanent in that once it is experienced it is never forgotten. We have this innate ability to recognise quality. Tha same is true for the awareness of right and wrong. I wonder where it all comes from? I wonder where it is all meant to lead?
Perhaps because we were created by He who is wonderful, we hear his echoes everywhere.
