Movies - The Passion Again

Showed the four minute preview clip on sun pm. [courtesy of the Bible Society] I think lots of christians, esp in America, will go. It will probably be a catalyst too the many, again esp in America, who had a relationship with God and let it slip over the years. I am however not sure about the rest of the population.

Mel is a well-known and well-loved action star. This does not necessarily translate into directorial support. One thinks of Costner and Waterworld. Add to this a movie where you already know the story, the dialogue in Aramaic, and the fact that the passion behind 'The Passion' is known to be Gibson's religious views.

All I am wondering is how many of the majority, the irreligious and unchurched  are actually going to go and see it?? I hope I am wrong but this film does not have 'Blockbuster' written all over it. On the other hand you may be able to pick it up from there in a few months time.
