I Went to the "Hulkamania - Let the Battle begin " Last night at the Burswood Dome with 25 Wrestlers and 10 bouts 2.5 hours of Action Entrertainment there were a lot of the old School wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Rick Flair .Brutus The Barber Beefcake ,The Nasty Boys and some of the more recent ones no longer working for  the WWE. Like Ken Anderson, Orlando Jordon,Th Godfather,  Heidenriech, Aumaga .This was a fun night with over 10,000 people Mark and myself  sat on row j ( 10 rows back) These Guys are Big Hulk is 6foot 8 Now this "Maybe" Staged and the outcome predicted but they really do hit each other. It was an a fun night

The Bible first mentions Wrestling in the OT Where Jacob wrestle a Guy Know as "TheMan" He wrestle this guy all night till eventually "the Man" had to put his finishing manouver on Jacoab( Who's name gets changed to Israel during the bout) the Rib Wrencher , but still Jacob wont give up and eventually gets the blessing and is then commended by The Man of God for his unrelentting never give up attitude under extreem circumstances Gen 32:22-31

David also mentions wrestling - He says in Ps 13:2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? But ends with  But I trust in your unfailing love my heart rejoices in your salvation I will sing to the LORD,for he has been good to me.               Ps 13:1-6
 

Paul also Mentions That we are now in a fight a struggle but we don't Wrestle against Fleah and blood But against the devil and his Forces of darkness and evil which are out to bring us down and makes us lose heart and get weary and will stop at nothing to do so. He is like a roaring lion prowling around seeking whom he may bring down . and he uses all sorts of devices and people .BUT DON'T FEAR For God has given us an out fit to get into to aid in this combat. a Helmet(Salvation) Belt (Truth) Breastplate(Righteousness) Shoes(Gospel of Peace) Sword ( God's Word) Shield ( Faith in God) and He tells us to Pray in the Spirit with all kinds of Prayer calling out to Him and after doing all STAND Eph 6

So if you in a bit of a spot where you find it a bit tough going at the moment Don't give up God is in your Corner , He is For you ,on Your side , Greater is He that is Within you that he that is in the world. Get that Armour on. You are more than a Conquerer ,Resist the devil and he will flee. This is not a once off fight this is a daily walk.Continue to seek God's Face in Prayer and Thanksgiving. Read His Word and meditate on it. I know this is not always easy, My self personally Ive been through some tough times over the years , and as a church we have had a few tough seasons, but like Jacob we need to hang on dont let go Deaw near to God and He will draw near to you .Rejoice in the Lord always.
